I FALL DOWN…I GET UP AGAIN
No matter how easy (or hard) it is to pursue our weight loss goals, we all fall sometimes. As with many things in life, it is not the number of times you fall; it is the number of times you get up.
From October of 2011 to July of 2012, I lost 74 pounds, changing my life forever by following the NDWS principles. Now, nearly 2 years later, have I gained the weight back? It is a little hard to say. For sure, I have not gained back 75 pounds!! I am still wearing the same size clothes I had to buy after the weight loss. But, should I step on the scale today, I am confident that my weight would be a little higher than it was in July of 2012. Some of this is due to a pretty rigorous and faithful weight training program. But, some is due to an occasional “slip,” or two. The bottom line is: when I fall down, I get up again. It is not really that hard, as long as I refuse to stay down!
Did you fall yesterday? That’s OK! Today is a brand new day. Did you fall at lunch today? It’s OK! You have the rest of the day to get back on track!
Make the commitment and GET UP RIGHT NOW!
