thCA5UB7VCChanging anything takes a little time and patience.  After all, you are typically changing something that has been a part of you for a long time.  You’ve lived with it.  It is a habit.  This is no different with changing your approach to eating.  However, losing weight the No Diet Weight Solution way is not a battle, but a positive journey.  It is a journey that will lead you to change the way you use food in your world.  The result?  A healthier, thinner, happier you.

But think about it for a moment.  No one does anything without a PAYOFF.  SO…what is your payoff?  What is your payoff for losing weight?  In other words, when you lose your weight, what will be different about your life?  Why is it such a big deal to you?  This payoff needs to come from you.  It needs to be personal to you.  For some, it might involve health reasons (“I want to get off of these medications” or “I want to get rid of this condition”).  For others, it might involve family reasons (“I want to be around longer to watch my grandkids grow up and thrive”).  For some, it might have something to do with simply taking better care of yourself, knowing that you have some habits that, when put together, are not helping your body and health, but rather hurting it.

Regardless of what YOUR reason is, define it.  Know WHY you want to do what you say you want to do.  THAT is your payoff.  When you focus on your payoff (your “why”) instead of your “what” (“I want to lose 20 pounds”), the whole picture shifts.  You turn on a powerful, internal motivator for yourself.  We call this power “WANTpower.”  If your payoff is to become thinner permanently and, as a result, healthier and happier, you have to WANT it enough to make it happen.  You also need to be READY to make some shifts and be COMMITTED to what you want.
